About Us
SciTatva was founded by Dr. Lakshmi Yeruva, bringing together deep scientific expertise and a shared vision of translating advanced research into meaningful real-world impact.
Dr. Samrajya Lakshmi Yeruva is an accomplished researcher and biotechnologist specializing in bio-nanotechnology, targeted drug delivery, and reproductive biology. She is widely recognized for pioneering work in bio-inspired nanomedicine — particularly the development of lactoferrin-based nanoparticles for the safe and effective delivery of antiretroviral (ARV) drugs and microbicides.
During her doctoral research at the University of Hyderabad, she developed advanced nanoformulations that significantly enhanced the bioavailability, biodistribution, and pharmacokinetic performance of HIV/AIDS therapies such as Zidovudine (AZT), while substantially reducing toxic side effects without compromising antiviral efficacy.
Her scientific contributions include highly cited peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as Scientific Reports and Pharmaceutical Research, with a strong focus on innovative combination therapies and translational solutions to combat complex viral diseases.
